Runnymede United's Youth Group (Grades 6-8) meets Sunday mornings and for a monthly social event.

Meet our creative and enthusiastic Youth Leader!

Dear Members of Runnymede Youth,

Hi! My name is Louise Granahan. I'm very excited to be your new youth leader at Runnymede United Church. I'm an elementary school teacher, and an MDiv student at Emmanuel College, which means I'm training for ministry. In my spare time, I love to figure skate, bike, swim, and dance. I also enjoy all kinds of art.

We'll be doing a lot of great things together in the Youth Group this year. We'll be learning about loving God, loving others and caring for our community, and having lots of fun along the way!

Come to the gym for an evening of organized games, free time, socializing, food, and fun. Bring your friends and some snacks to share. Louise will bring the Root Beer!

Sunday, February 7th, 2010 - Retreat Registration Begins

Get your form for the retreat starting today! All forms must be in by March 7th, 2010. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you get your form in, the better!

Sunday, February 14th, 2010 - Hair-Raising Fundraising Announcement

Did you miss the big announcement? We will be having a youth retreat at Crieff Hills (near Guelph) in March. The focus of the retreat will be to prepare to lead worship on April 11, 2010. The cost will be $130 per person, including meals, but with fundraising, we hope to lower the cost. Be sure to come to church to find out about our big fundraising event.

Sunday, April 11th, 2010 10:30am - Worship Service Led by the Youth

Today, the service will be led by the members of the Youth Group who attended the retreat.
