Hello Hiders! As soon as you see the August 2008 Hide-It you are going to ask, "What was she thinking?" It is such a strange scripture passage for us to memorize together! But I am guessing that you too have struggled with envy. This Hide-it will be very helpful with your struggle. Even reading it over and over has created a variety of responses in me: conviction of my sin, fear that I can't change, repentance, relief at feeling God's forgiveness and then joy at being able to let go of the envy because I can trust in God's love for me who is one of a kind - just like you are!
May the Lord bless you and speak to you personally as you put it to memory. Cut these up and place them in different places, so that one is always in reach. If you can, find an accountability partner who will pray for you and to whom you can recite this.
