Recorded Services

What and When

Sunday Morning Worship

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in person and live stream

Please join us every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Our worship service includes readings, music, hymns, prayers, a choir anthem, a sharing time, a message with reflections and church news.

See prior services and video excerpts on this page.

Sunday School

10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in person

It is not only great fun; it’s a safe space for your child to learn about Jesus’ central teachings on love & acceptance, along with age-appropriate lessons on social justice issues and how even the smallest among us can make a difference in our world. Suitable for children from pre-school to grade 5, we meet every Sunday at 10:30 am. Contact the office about online alternatives.

Nursery

Our cozy nursery is available Sunday mornings for families who wish to use it. Babies and toddlers are of course, welcomed in the service.

Coffee Time

After church at 11:30am in person

We gather informally after church for coffee and conversation in our meeting hall – a chance to see old friends and meet new ones! In the summer, it is lemonade on the lawn. We look forward to introducing ourselves and welcoming you!

Youth Group

Our youth group currently meets periodically for social gatherings connected to the life and the work of the church.

For more information, please contact Laura Gallagher-Doucette.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Faith is about questions. No matter where you are in your faith journey--a committed believer or someone with deep questions--you are welcome at Runnymede United. Many people come to Runnymede United with no church background or experience and that is great. Bring your questions, bring your doubts and share in finding answers with all of us.

  • Runnymede continues to innovate and refine its online offering. The online worship service is a broadcast of the in-person experience so you can watch from wherever you are comfortable and at the time that suits you. Check the link under Sunday Morning for previous services to worship with Runnymede United and know that you are welcome to worship online or in person as you are comfortable. Our service goes live online at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings and is available anytime after that.

  • First, wear whatever you're comfortable wearing to come to Sunday service. Many people dress very casually. If you'd like to attend service in person, you're welcome to enter through the side door on the south side. There is an accessible ramp on the north side door. Parking is available along Runnymede Road or across the street in the school parking lot. You can sit wherever you're comfortable. There is no assigned seating. The order of service is posted weekly to help guide you through the service. It's all very easy to follow along. Relax and enjoy!

  • Runnymede United believes that it is not our table or the table of the United Church of Canada, it is the table of Jesus Christ and all are welcome without exception to share the feast of Communion.
