Welcoming
& Affirming

Runnymede United Church is an Affirming Congregation, recognized by Affirm United for the process of reflection and education that we undertook as a congregation and our overwhelmingly positive vote to live into this identity. We are committed to radical welcome and inclusion of all people without judgement or prejudice, to make this a place where all of God’s people belong. Our two-campus church is a safe space for 2SLGBTQ+ people.

Runnymede United Church Annual Giving Program is ON!

Our Annual Giving Program launches October 19th! Check our Stewardship webpage for details on how you can support this vibrant faith community and all the good things that happen here. Thank you!

Open House on October 26th!

Come for morning service, stay for coffee. With cup and cookies in hand, talk to folks about what happens at Runnymede—from being a safe and welcoming space to explore faith and enjoy community, to finding meaningful ways to promote justice locally and around the world.

A Christmas Carol Returns!

The Runnymede annual reading of the classic Dickens’ tale is back on Sunday November 30 at 7 pm, featuring another stellar lineup of readers and performers, including Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Beau Dixon (Passing Strange), Tom Power (CBC’s Q), Susan Ormiston (CBC News), Afrim Pristine (community leader) with more to come! All proceeds from this evening of holiday storytelling and song go towards the Food Community Outreach program in support of Bloor West Food Bank and other community nutrition initiatives.
