Christmas Outreach projects are not that far off!  Sunday, November 29th is the first Sunday of Advent and this is traditionally our Christmas Shoe Box Sunday. Only 12 weeks away and those weeks will fly by in our busy church.  Once again, our partners, Unison Health and Community Services, are looking forward to our filled Christmas shoeboxes for moms, dads and children from babies to 12-year-olds, as well as any gift cards that will augment the needs of their clients who lack the resources to ensure a happy Christmas for their families. Time to find and wrap a shoebox or two, fill with appropriate gifts for a Mother, Father, or baby/child from the ages of 0 years to 12 years AND/OR make a donation towards a gift card (payable to treasurer@runnymedeunited.org) to help make a family’s Christmas a little brighter.   Bring your shoeboxes to church on the morning of Sunday, November 29th, where they will be packed and delivered to Unison Health later that week. Volunteers will be needed that morning to help sort and pack as well as drivers (preferably with vans!) to help deliver the boxes to Unison Health (~Rogers and Keele Streets) early in the week.
