We will be celebrating Worldwide Communion on Sunday, October 4th. This is a special celebration as many denominations around the world celebrate the sacrament of Communion on the same day to celebrate our unity as members of the body of Christ. Runnymede has an open table where all people are welcome without exclusion. If you are joining online, you are invited to prepare your own elements and share the meal with us.

Runnymede United Church has a history of providing assistance to people in our community in many ways. There are many people who are struggling to provide the basic necessities for themselves and their families with the financial challenges of these days. One of our outreach offerings is giving gift cards for groceries to assist people to have access to good nutrition. We will be taking up a special offering on October 4th when we celebrate Communion to support our gift card outreach. All offerings received through our Benevolent Offering are held for that purpose and only used for that ministry. We will on occasion have a special offering to support this ongoing work.
