Spiritual Growth Committee
Grow in Spirit, Deepen in Faith, Connect in Community
The Spiritual Growth Committee helps people of all ages explore and deepen their faith.
We believe that spirituality is a lifelong journey—one that invites us to care for ourselves, our communities, Creation, and our relationship with the mystery of God.
Our role is to create opportunities for reflection, conversation, and learning that are both accessible and meaningful. Whether through book studies, discussions on justice and faith, or age-appropriate programming for children and youth, we provide safe and welcoming spaces for questions, exploration, and growth.
We approach our work with openness and curiosity, drawing from progressive theology and interfaith connections. Our gatherings encourage new ideas, foster hope, and inspire people to live their faith in the world.
What we Offer
The Spiritual Growth Committee hosts gatherings throughout the year that invite people into deeper reflection and connection. Our programs are offered both online and in person, at a variety of times, so that everyone can find a way to take part.
We hold book studies on memoirs, novels, and spiritual writings that spark conversation about faith, justice, and life’s big questions. Some of the authors we’ve explored together include Brian McLaren, Richard Rohr, Diana Butler Bass, and Barbara Brown Taylor.
Each gathering is guided by compassionate facilitators and ministers, creating a safe and welcoming space to ask questions, share stories, and seek meaning. Whether you’re just beginning to explore spirituality or have been on the journey for years, there is a place for you here.
Get involved
Spiritual growth is something we do best when we journey together. All are welcome, and no prior experience is needed.
