Thank You!

A big thank you to the congregation and friends who generously supported the Centennial Giving Opportunity.

The church decided to celebrate 100 years of blessings by donating $5,000 each to two long-standing friends of Runnymede – Water First and Kijiji Cha Upendo. You more than matched that amount. The final tallies were $10,958 for Kijiji and $10,700 for Water First. Thank you!

Ami Gopal, of Water First, expressed her organization's deep gratitude for this funding and past support. She notes that the funds will support new internships in seven Ontario Indigenous communities, training 10 interns to become water treatment plant operators.

Linda Levin expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the Kijiji Cha Upendo team. They are overjoyed about this generous gift. Funds will be used to purchase and equip a new, permanent office space that is better situated to serve the community and will save the cost of monthly rent payments.
